Sports discourse is too negative

Maybe it's always been this way but I'm just getting tired of it even more so now. There is way too much negativity in sports discourse. I never watch First Take or any of its derivatives. I don't listens to sports talk radio or any of it's new-age social media equivalents. I just kind of scour select forums and communities online. Maybe a video here and there from good Youtube channels. Negativity is unavoidable.

Here's all the negative discourse of the past few months after a great Stanley Cup and NBA Finals:

NBA: The OKC Thunder foul everyone and they flop too much and they get all the calls.

It's a rigged league, Adam Silver clearly rigged the number one pick for Dallas after they secretly agreed to trade Luka Doncic to the big market Lakers

NHL: Every team is dirty. The Florida Panthers injure everyone intentionally. The Edmonton Oilers injure everyone intentionally.

MLB: Modern baseball is so boring. It's all analytically driven. Nobody puts the ball in play anymore. Every pitcher focuses on gaining velo rather than learning how to pitch. Blah blah blah three true outcome baseball

NFL: Rigged for the Chiefs because of Taylor Swift

Soccer: there's no creativity in the game anymore like when we played with Zidane and Ronaldinho. It's all systems-driven because of dictator managers like Pep

Is it just because everyone longs for what they think is the good ol' days and anything different than that has to be rejected? I've been going online to engage in sports debate for as long as I can remember (1998 I think I discovered sports forums) but I think I'm going to make the effort to just be a guy who watches games and then turns it off. Maybe I engage with a few select fan accounts online and ignore the rest.
