Sandwich Review in NYC #7 (Diem Eatery)
We're out for a stroll in Brooklyn Heights on a breezy Saturday morning. Feeling some banh mi's at Diem Eatery on Atlantic St.
I get the classic--ham, pate, pork, carrots, daikon, cilantro. Served spicy with sriracha and sliced jalapeno peppers.
I don't have much to write about it, just that they execute the basics--soft toasted bread, fresh ingredients. Solid sandwich. 3/4.
My wife also orders the cold vermicelli noodles dish. I love that they spam fried onions and fried garlic all over thish dish. The nuoc mam is homemade and high quality. Alas non-sandwiches do not count into my grades.
