Sandwich Review in NYC #4 (Le Petite Parisien)
What's the difference between Italian and French sandwiches?
Italian subs have vegetables and French baguette sandwiches don't. I kinda think the French are onto something.
I made a trip to Le Petite Parisien in NoHo/East Village area and ordered the Marie Antoinette--aged ham, goat cheese, olive oil, honey.
French sandwiches are all about hitting the tastebud intersection of sweet (honey), savory (olive oil + ham), creamy/buttery (goat cheese) and this one does the trick. I could eat this every single day for breakfast, no complaints.
Rating? 4/4. I know, I'm too easy to please.
