Sandwich Review in NYC #38 (Pastrami Queen)

I haven't been trying a lot of new sandwiches lately. I've just been eating at the same ol' places like Bread and Spread located on 383 Bridge Street. If you haven't tried, check it out. I get the feeling they need the support.

We're at the Timeout Market in DUMBO for the weekend and I'm actually to try the Dominican BBQ sandwich. However, it's been moved to the upstairs eateries and we already found a good seating area downstairs. So I pivot and grab a sandwich at this place called Pastrami Queen. I order the Brisket King--smoked brisket, peppers, onions, and Russian dressing spread on a ciabatta roll.

brisket king

It's like a half-Italian (ciabatta bread, pepper/onions) and half-Jewish (brisket, Russian dressing) sandwich. Brisket is juicy and tender. Pepper/onion/spread combo adds incredible flavor. I love it. Rating: 4/4
