Sandwich Review in NYC #33 (All'Antico Vinaio)
I ordered The Paradiso -- mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio
Great bread. The savory stracciatella and the pistachio cream are the highlight of the sandwich. The mortadella ham is just kinda there. I'm kind of waffling back and forth between giving this a 3 or 4, so let's split the difference for now. Rating: 3.5/4
7:20pm edit: a loyal reader of mine felt extremely offended at the notion of decimal ratings--he feels it compromises the simplicity of the ratings system. I am inclined to agree, so I will now rate this sandwich a strong 3. If it was a 4, it would have been obvious. I could change my mind upon eating it again.
