Sandwich Review in NYC #40 (Court Street Grocers)
I just discovered this they were only a couple blocks away from my kid's daycare in Carroll Gardens--not sure why I haven't been sooner.
Did I tell you I've been running lately? I bought some new shoes and I run after I do dropoff. Our home is 2 stops away on train so it's about a 20-25 min run. It's nice. I'm trying to be healthy and all that.
I still want to eat a big-ass greasy sandwich though. I bought it to-go, dumped it in a light backpack, and took a very heavy and clunky jog back home. Sat on a park bench to cool off and enjoy a beautiful 65 degree morning in Downtown Brooklyn.
Reuben: corned beef, swiss, sauerkraut, and comeback sauce on orwasher’s rye bread. 4/4 stars
